Function:
Ixabepilone is a novel microtubule inhibitor anti-malignant tumor drug, which is a semisynthesis similar to ebromycin B developed by bristol-myerssquibb. Its mechanism of action is similar to that of paclitaxel, that is, it has a microtubule stabilizing effect.The results of in vitro experiments showed that the microtubule polymerization ability of this product was 2 times that of paclitaxel, and it had the effect of killing tumor cells at very low concentration.More importantly, isapirone also showed better efficacy in patients who were not sensitive to paclitaxel or who were resistant to paclitaxel.
